Whats a "French Gallery Portrait?"
My vision of a "French Gallery Portrait" came from my dreamy imagination. Like a beautiful portrait of Marie Antionnette and her children. Like a fine painting in a rich beautiful frame. Something you might see in a finely decorated home in Europe. Today's homes reflect some of the finest details of homes in past era's. Beautiful arches, grand entryways, elegant staircases and fireplaces of todays home designers are just begging to be adorned by this type of fine portraiture. Simply stunning. Not stuffy by any means, just rich captivating art that will be appreciated and handed down for generations to come.
So, when I think of a french gallery styled portrait I think of a timeless elegant amazing canvas portrait displayed proudly in a prominent deserving spot in your home just begging to be appreciated!
